Maxine Hamilton

MOULTRIE- Maxine Engle Hamilton, 85, of Moultrie, died Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Legacy Village at Park Regency. Visitation will be Friday, April 17 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home in Middletown, Ohio, with Senior Minister Duane Mecklem. Eulogy will be read by Deacon Forrester Caudill and special music by Mr. and Mrs. Felix Hall. Honorary pallbearers are as follows, Felix and John Engle, and pallbearers are Roger and Arlis Engle, Gillis and Mike Shepherd, Russell Lake, Justin, Lonnie and Tony Hamilton. Interment will follow in Woodside Cemetery. Born April 5, 1930 in Leslie County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Filmore Engle and Tressie York Engle. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie Hamilton; one son, Marvin Wayne Hamilton; one brother, Fred Engle. Survivors include one daughter, Marcia Sells Bryant of Moultrie; two grandchildren, Amy H. Stephens and husband Michael of Kissimmee, FL. and Christina Hamilton Lake and husband Russell of Richmond Hill, GA.; seven great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Lake, Ansleigh Lake, Hamilton Lake, Haley Stephens, Emma Stephens, Kasey Stephens and Lakara Lewis; three sisters, Viola Shepherd and husband Gillis of Monroe, OH, Lucille Cox of Middletown, OH and Betty Jo Campbell of Fruitland Park, FL.; four brothers, Felix Engle and wife Irene of Middletown, OH, Roger Engle and wife Charlene of Guilford, IN., Arlis Engle and wife Geneva of Batesville, IN. and John Engle and wife Barb of Sunman, IN.; and other family members; and the special caregivers at Legacy Village at Park Regency and United Hospice.
