Melissa Jo Young (nee Rains), age 51, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born May 2, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Janice (Rowland) Rains. Melissa was formerly employed as a cosmetologist for 15 years. She was also a bus driver for Franklin City Schools and worked for Wilmington Head Start. Melissa is survived by her two daughters, Tabatha (Jeremiah) Estep, Amber Hosey; sister, Sherry Tripp; three brothers, Charles T. (Kimberly) Rains, Jeff Rains, Randall (Glinda) Rains; six grandsons, Chauncey, Donald, Dylan, Isaiah, Zachary, Ayden; two granddaughters, Hailey, Elexus; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pmon Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Miamisburg Christian Church, 1146 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg. Memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm.
