Michael Ray Agee

Michael Ray Agee, age 71, of Middletown, died at his residence Thursday, April 30, 2015. He was born March 26, 1944 in Pomeroyton, Kentucky. Michael worked as a Security Guard for Armco Steel, retiring after 30 years of service. He volunteered for Warren County Sheriff Department and Middletown Police Department for 13 years, and was a roofer for over 30 years. He is survived by his wife, of 52 years, Frances S. (Creech) Agee; one daughter, Stephanie (Stephen) Rountree of Middletown; one son, Steven (Molly) Agee of Middletown; three grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica, Jacob; five sisters, Vickie McGee of Madison Township, Kim Godsey of Edmonton, Kentucky, Kathy Reynolds of Rising Sun, Indiana, Betty Gillis of Texas, Wanda Blanchard of Texas; and one brother, Dale Helton of Middletown. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry Helton and Gene Agee. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday at the Lewis Street Praise and Worship Center with Pastor Kenneth Angel officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 am until service time Monday at the church.
