Michael Dane Canter, age 64, of Dayton, Ohio, died Tuesday January 31, 2017 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born in New Boston, Ohio on July 21, 1952 to Donald and Lois (Baker) Canter. He was self-employed with Canter's Home Consultants and retired in 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Eugene Canter, mother, Lois Marilyn Canter. Michael was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Michael is survived by his wife and soul mate of 32 years, Linda (Pigg) Canter; four sons, Travis Culbertson, Brett Canter, James Canter, Justin Canter; daughter, Amanda Hammon; two sisters, Sydney Long and Kelly Faus; four granddaughters, Lauren, Avery, Karlie, Olive; five grandsons, Wyatt, Gavin, Jonah, Adam, Lucas.
