Michael Matthew Chandler, also known as “Chandler” and “Bubba,” age 35, of Springboro, OH, passed away Friday August 21, 2020 from drowning after kayaking on August 15, 2020. Michael was born a rockstar in Dayton OH on April 30, 1985. He was a Valley View High School graduate class of 2003. He was a professional college student and a graduate of The Ohio State University. He was the “Closing Expert” at the Dayton South Target. Michael is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ruth (Roy) Smith and Barb Vetter; his grandfather, Bill Chandler. Michael is survived by his parents, William (Toni) Chandler and Rhonda (Dennis) DeWeese; his sister, Erin Chandler; his dog, Tucker; his grandfather, Art (Betty) Vetter; his favorite grandmother, Marilyn Chandler; his aunts and uncles, Ruth Chandler, Keith (Karen) Chandler, Robin (Jeff) Buop, Becky (Matt) Benson, and Jack Vetter. Visitation will be Wednesday August 26, 2020 at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH. From 3-7pm. Michael was a registered organ donor and was able to gift his heart, liver, both kidneys and corneas. Michaels family has peace with his passing realizing the joy and continuation of life he is able to bring to the organ recipients and their families.
