Mildred Pauline Elizabeth Spicer Peddicord Melton, age 72, of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born January 10, 1940 in Middletown, the daughter of Charles Earl Spicer and Margaret Rose Elek Spicer. She is survived by her youngest daughter, Margaret Margo Peddicord; her oldest son, Robert Clayton Peddicord and his wife, Karen Slayton Peddicord and their son, Robbie Peddicord of Kentucky; two brothers, Joe Spicer, David Spicer; and one sister, Jeanie Jordon. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert M. Peddicord; her second husband of 32 years, William Melton; her parents; and one sister, Rosie. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday at the Butler County Memorial Park Chapel. Arrangements are by the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Garden Manor or Hospice of Dayton.
