

Nancy Estelle Pond 94, with her earthly family present, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to join her heavenly family on December 26, 2024. She was born in Thorn Hill, Tenn, Sept. 5, 1930 daughter of Thomas and Wila Jefferson Scearce.
Nancy worked at G.M. beginning at Frigidaire; retiring from Delphi in 1999 after 30 years.
She loved working in her flower beds at home. She loved going to various music shows and meeting with her friends several times a week. She especially loved going to McDonalds every morning for breakfast and sitting for hours talking with friends and having a good time. She also had to haver her chicken nuggets ever evening from McDonalds. She was always very active and seemed to always be on the go. She was a strong, independent woman who lived a long, happy and fulfilled life.
Preceding Nancy in death were her parents and step mom Dot Purkey Scearce; brothers Ray and Johnny Scearce; sisters Cecile Hatfield, Lucille Gordon and Lorene Roach all of Tenn. She was also preceded in death by her 1st husband Bud Harvey and her 2nd husband Bill Pond.
Nancy is survived by her 3 children Larry (Janice) Harvey, Danny (Barb) Harvey and Trish (Mike) Majeski. She had 5 grandchildren: Debi Lainhart, Sharon Shamel, Larry Harvey II, Tracy Lomangino and Jeremy Johnson and also 3 step grandchildren , Melissa Rigsby, Carrie Hill and Bobby Rigsby. She had 8 great-grandchildren: Gunnar Lainhart, Courtney Dean, Caleb Dean, Caroline Harvey, Jackson Harvey, Maci Harvey and Jaylin Lomangino and Austin Johnson; and 1 great-great grandchild: Harper Dean.
Nancy is also survived by her sister Christine (Doyle) Roberts, and brother Thomas Scearce Jr. all of Tenn, and several nieces and nephews and numerous friends that she loved dearly; and everyone that knew her loved her as well.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 12:00 PM- 2:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home- 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45005- Funeral service to be held at 2:00 PM with Reverend Tom Myers presiding. Burial will follow at Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin, Ohio.
The family wishes to thank the Hospice organization and its compassionate staff for the comfort they provided mom during her final days.
