Norma Atchison

Norma J. Atchison formerly from Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on May 11, 2013 in Dayton, Ohio. She was born February 28, 1922 in Jemison, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. Atchison and grandson Kyle J. Atchison.

Norma is survived by a son Ralph L. Atchison (Carolyn), a daughter Cynthia Haacke (Ted), and three grandchildren, Todd Haacke (Karen), Erica Marsden (Steve) and Erin Suzanne Lufkin (Drew) and four great grandchildren. Norma is also survived by Lisa Atchison, widow of Kyle J. Atchison. Norma's great grandchildren were the light of her life. She also enjoyed her favorite football teams and reading. Norma was a member of Trussville First Baptist Church. She was a very spiritual woman and active in various service activities at her church throughout her life.

A celebration of Norma' life will be held Wednesday 2:00 pm at John Ridout's Funeral Home in Trussville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
