Ollie Thomas Bare

Ollie Thomas (OT) Bare, 76, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away on December 12, 2023. Born on June 13, 1947, in Maysville, Kentucky, Ollie was the beloved son of Ollie E Bare and Bernice Bare (nee Houston). He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers Richard Bare, Gary Bare, and sister Patricia Bare.

Ollie's proudest role in life was being a father to his three boys, Joshua Bare (Jill Wiltz), Daniel Bare (Kasey Bare), and Patrick Bare. He was also a loving brother to Larry Bare (Diana Bare), Dennis Bare, and Debbie Russell (Roger Russell). Ollie cherished his role as a grandfather to his five grandchildren, Madison Bare, Aidan Bare, Kaydence Bare, Ethan Bare, and Hannah Bare. He also had numerous nieces and nephews whom he held dear to his heart.

After graduating from Franklin High School, Ollie pursued a career as an Electronics Technician at Siemens. His expertise and dedication made him a valuable asset to the company.

Outside of work, Ollie had a passion for researching his family genealogy and Native American culture. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, hiking, and exploring the open road. However, his greatest joy came from being surrounded by his family.

In accordance with Ollie's wishes, his ashes will be spread in the Appalachian mountains. The Anderson Funeral Home in Franklin, Ohio, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Ollie Thomas Bare will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May his memory be a source of comfort to those who mourn his loss.
