Sweezy, Orville L., age 63, of Franklin passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at the Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Allegan, MI on March 27, 1958, the son of the late Clifford Sweezy and Elaine (Anglemyer) Harris. Orville is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cheryl (Newton) Sweezy; three children, Theresa Sweezy, Christopher (Montana) Sweezy, Rebecca (Kris) Stonecipher; a nephew, Joey Houston; his step-mother, Darlyne Sweezy; seven siblings, Darlene (David) Harding, Paulette Strickland, Jennifer Glover, Robert (Malinda) Harris, all of Tallahassee, FL, Denise Peterson, Linda (Mike) Fergison, Karyn Jones, all of Elkhart, IN; three grandchildren, Amaya, Aurora Arya. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. Orville was a member of Generations Church and formerly served on the Carlisle Zoning Board. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Anderson Funeral Home-Franklin Chapel, 1357 East Second Street with Pastor Jamey Johnson officiating. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021. It was always fun to have Orville around. He could always make everyone laugh and liven up the mood. God probably saw he'd seen enough trouble in this world, and took him home. He and the Lord are probably sharing a good laugh right now! The Lord be praised and glorified. Thanks be to God for folks like Orville!

I really loved hanging out and talking to Orville and his lovely wife and kids.......he was so real and easy to talk to you laid back was upfront and real that what I loved about my friend Orville and his wife Cheryl I was truly blessed to know him and still truly blessed to know his wife I love you guys!!!!RIP Dear Orville you was a great man you have no more pain or struggles ❤️my heart goes out to your family I know you will be missed by so many 😔
