

Otis was preceded in death by his first wife of 45 years, Juanita (Green) King; daughters Janet (Green) Ratcliff and Cindy Green; son Donald King; and grandson Antonio Ryan.
He is survived by his second wife, Linda Spencer; his sisters, Connie (Vince) Hall and Nora Jane Jones; daughters Sonya (Bob) Wray and Tressa King; grandchildren Kara Wright, Mike Liang, Amber Tuttle, Denika Turner, William Ratcliff, Dennis Baker, Jadalyn Wray, and Nalayah Harris; great-grandchildren Aryhana, Princeton, Ayden, Amyah, Summer, Destiny, Dakota, Joby, Jack, Gabe, Xavier, and Xaelah; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Otis was a proud veteran of the United States military, serving during the Vietnam War. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Otis was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. He was always ready with a joke and never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be deeply missed by his wife, daughters, family, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Anderson Funeral Home, 40 N. Main Street, Springboro, Ohio 45066. A funeral service celebrating Otis’s life will begin at 12:00 noon immediately following the visitation. Military honors will be rendered following the funeral service in recognition of his faithful service to his country. Interment will take place at Dayton National Cemetery on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
