

Born in Trenton, Missouri, on December 10, 1922, Mrs. Myers attended schools in Middletown and graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1943 as a Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. degree, majoring in art history.
Mrs. Myers always loved art and supported the Middletown Arts Center, where she not only took watercolor painting classes, but also served on the board and a term as president. She also served on the Arts in Middletown (AIM) board and various committees for the Middletown Symphony and Lyric Theater, Miami University Middletown (MUM), Girl Scouts, River Corridor, and the First United Methodist Church.
She was an avid bridge player, playing regularly up until the last year of her life, earning master points for "Life Master." She and her husband, Frank Myers, also enjoyed sailing and traveling to new places. She deeply loved her family and was actively involved in many of their various activities. She was active in the Current Events Club and Ms. Mutual and also enjoyed gardening and reading.
Mrs. Myers is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Myers Patten and her husband Richard of Piqua, Ohio; her son, John S. Myers and his wife Jane Lawson of Asheville, N.C.; her grandchildren, Cynthia Patten Stanard and her husband Davis and Joseph Myers Patten and his wife Dana; and her great-grandchildren, Ava Stanard, Frank Stanard, Samuel Patten, and Benjamin Patten, all of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank R. Myers, and her parents Pearl and John Wilks.
Visiting hours will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 16, followed by a short memorial service at 11 a.m. conducted by Reverend Ed Ellis at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home in Middletown. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery Middletown.
