Peggy Blake

Peggy Joyce Blake, age, 77 of Franklin, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Atrium Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1937 in Rock Castle County, Kentucky, the daughter of Nathan and Bertha (Hammond) Saylor. She is preceded in death by her father, Nathan Saylor, mother, Bertha Saylor, son, Forest G. Blake, sister, Mary Campbell and sister, Brenda Horn. Peggy is survived by her husband of 62 years, Forest Blake; her two daughters, Jacquelyn (Joe) Crowder, Melissa (Fred) VandeGeer; sister, Kay (Leroy) House; two brothers, Bill (Rhonda) Saylor, Jim (Robin) Johnson; four granddaughters, Amber, Amanda, Angela, Danielle; three grandsons, Benjamin, Gregory and Chris; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who devoted her life to her family and will be greatly missed. Funeral service will be Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 6:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Tim Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saylor Cemetery in Brodhead, KY.
