We have such wonderful memories of time spent with Phil and his beautiful family. He was a fun-loving guy, even when he was in the 4th Grade. Our loving thoughts are with all of you. May your sweet memories help sustain you during this challenging time and in the days ahead.

I'll never forget my sister and me, challenging Phil to a basketball game at the courts! We totally thought we could take him. (He was the "old" DQ manager after all, and we were at the top of our game in high school!) The big event was planned for a summer night, after DQ closing time, at one of Miamisburg's public courts. Many DQ employees were in attendance, eagerly anticipating the showdown--which had been preceded by MUCH trash talking on both sides. Phil even made it more fun by surprising everyone with delivered pizza at the courts before the game. Once we got down to business and the game actually started, I remembered thinking, "What have we gotten ourselves into?!" He sunk a 3 pointer right away and was running circles around us. We held our own and made it a competition, but Phil was the ultimate victor that night and it was so much fun! I also remember how proud Phil was that many of the DQ employees would come to have their picture taken with him on Homecoming or Prom nights, probably because he would fuss over how lovely we looked. He knew how to run a tight ship at the DQ (you didn't look bored when Phil was around and got to wiping something off with a rag, fast!) but he was also a lot of fun and just knew how to put you at ease and make you feel special. I loved the morning shift with Phil because he'd usually offer to buy breakfast from the Koffee Kup. :) He will be so missed. Many prayers for those he loved, and left too soon.

Leanne. So very sorry for your loss Phíl and I raced several times at old Lebanon and I remember one time we had a couple pretty good mares in with each other and he was following me and my mare tried to pull up he ran up over my wheel and made a break and my mare took back off. I was apologizing as we pulled up and he wasn’t upset with me. Said that’s just racing and I always thought that that kind of sportsmanship was special as was he

Phil and I were inseparable for so many years. The memories are to abundant to capture here. I just thank God for the times we had as kids being true boys growing up to be men. From the Borrowing of his Uncles car to the front yard football with Chris and lil Dreama.

Obviously, Phil and I played Football and Swam together. Everything was a sport to us back then. Phil was an amazing Diver. There really wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. Spending Saturday Mornings in the Barns at the race tracks to the Golf with my Dad. One year we had to pour my Father into the house because Phil and I gave him a few to many Manhattans at the AIM For The Handicapped Golf outing. My Mom, rest her soul, was so mad at us all.

This world had an amazing person loaned to us for a brief while. May he find his Mothers Arms again in the Kingdom of our Lord and Savior. Rest in pease my old friend. Your memory will always be with me.
