

Philip P. Robison, age 85, of Franklin, Ohio, died Friday, July 31, 2015 at Sycamore Glen. He was born in Middletown, Ohio, on July 17, 1930, to the late Fred and Naomi (Patton) Robison. Philip served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Franklin serving in many offices. He owned and operated Conover Hardware for 50 years and retired in 1993. He was Citizen of the Year, a member of both the Lions Club and the American Legion for over 50 years, was active in the Anthony Wayne Elementary PTA, tutored reading, served on the Franklin Civil Service Commission, Franklin Charter Committee, was President of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce, was chairman of the local Salvation Army Unit for 20 years, and was on the Conover Trust Committee. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte; daughter, Amy Robison; brothers, Fred and William Robison; sister, Margaret Little; and mother-in-law Eura Pergram. Philip is survived by his two sons, Steven (Marie) Robison of Franklin, Ohio; Eric (Olivia) Robison of Ontario, Canada; sister, Helen Robison; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 6:00 pm at First United Methodist Church of Franklin. Burial of cremated remains will be in Woodhill Cemetery with military honors at a later date.
