Phyllis E. Brown

Phyllis E. Brown, age 87, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was born in Middletown, Ohio, on March 4, 1928 to the late Glenn and Opal Gingerich.

Phyllis was a devoted mother and caregiver. She was so patient and was the best mom ever. She loved animals, going for walks, traveling and going out to eat with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Brown, and sisters, Marjorie Clark and Ruth Crow.

Phyllis will be missed by her loving children, Elaine (Bill) McNabb, Greg (Kathy) Brown, Connie (Ken) Williams, Karen (Danny) Marden and Deron (Brita) Brown; grandchildren, Robert McNabb, Matthew McNabb, Susan Shope, Eric Brown, Derek Brown, and Dylan Brown; 5 great-grandchildren and siblings, Eleanor Tracy and Bill (Phyllis) Gingerich; and caregiver and special family friend, Louella Walker.

Phyllis' family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Frazer and Hospice of Dayton for the great care they gave her.

Funeral services are Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, 517 S. Sutphin Street Middletown,Ohio with Pastor Greg Cox officiating. Burial in Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10:00 am-11:00 am at the funeral home.
