Richard Dale Dawson Sr., age 75 of Franklin, Ohio passed away Monday, June 18, 2012. He was born August 19, 1936 in Xenia, Ohio the son of Harold and Louise Dawson. He served in the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Darlene; two brothers, Roy and Maynard; and a sister, Pamela.
Richard is survived by 4 sons, Richard, Joel, Roy, and Rob Dawson; 2 daughters, Melody Robbins and Nadine Wilson; and 3 sisters, Janice Comendo, Audrey Dawson, and Sue Foster. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren including his special grandchild, Jacob and 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Funeral service will be Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Anderson Funeral Home (Franklin). Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dayton National Cemetery with full Military Honors. www.anderson-fh.com.
