Richard Dearth

Richard C. Dearth Jr., age 63 of Carlisle, Ohio, after a long and extended illness, left us and began his journey in Heaven on August 19, 2016 at 2:00 pm. He was born January 5, 1953 in Middletown, the son of Richard C. Dearth, Sr. and Margaret (Giles) Dearth. He worked for AK Steel for 34 years and then worked for Bosch Battery Systems.

Richard loved music, drawing, bowling and most of all, his love for family. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Diana (Mays) Dearth; daughter, Alicia (husband, Justin) Bush; sons, Jason Dearth and Brandon (wife, Hannah) Dearth; eight grandchildren, Kylan Dearth, Garrett and Kennedy Underwood, Dane and Dylan Bush, Hayden, Aaron and Reagan Dearth; brothers, Johnny and Joe Dearth and a sister, Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Reverend Rhonda Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
