Richard Ferguson

Richard Lee Ferguson Sr., age 78 of Franklin, Ohio passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Sycamore Hospital. He was born September 21, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Alpheus and Lenna Ferguson. He retired in 1994 as a printer from McCalls & Dayton Press after 34 years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Betty in 2005 and his brothers, Marvin, Thomas, and Norm Ferguson, and a sister, Mary Fornshell.

Richard is survived by son's Richard Jr. of Newport, NC, Kent of Middletown, OH, Jerry of Middletown, Randy of Franklin and two daughters Cynthia Ferguson of Franklin and Paula Ferguson of West Carrolton also 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; brother, Don and sister, Julia Peterson.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 11:00 am at Franklin Baptist Church (160 Deardoff Road, Franklin, Ohio 45005) Visitation will be from 5-8 on Tuesday evening at the church. Burial will be in Trissel Cemetery, New Lebanon, Ohio. www.anderson-fh.com
