
He graduated from Allegheny High School in 1961. In 1978, Rich and his family made their home in Dayton, where he continued his career as a commercial construction Glazing Superintendent, and he retired in 2013.
Rich enjoyed outdoor concerts, puzzles, auction and estate sales, playing Euchre at the YMCA, the Pittsburgh teams; especially The Steelers, and gathering for dinners with his family.
Rich is survived by his loving wife Arlene (Klingman). They were married in Fairfield, CA on June 27, 1964 following his return from a US Air Force tour of duty in the Philippine Islands.
Rich is lovingly remembered by sister Shirley Smith of Long Beach, CA; daughter Sherri Morris of San Francisco, CA; daughter Charlene Norman (Morris) and husband Michael of Springboro, OH; son Richard C. Morris, Jr. and wife Monica (Thoma) of Liberty Township, OH. His five grandchildren; Jacob and wife Sara (Zynda), Eric and Kyle Norman, Alexandra and Zane Morris, and his two great grandchildren, Jaxon and Stella.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, March 15 at 11:00 am, at St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 N. Springboro Pike, Dayton. The family will be welcoming loved ones and friends into the worship space at 10:00am. A luncheon reception celebrating Rich's life will follow at the Fr. "Stretch" Mierenfeld PAC, on the parish grounds.
