Richard Pruett

Richard B. "Dick" Pruett, age 80, of Middletown, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born November 10, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Turley Pruett and Irene Queener Pruett. Richard graduated from the University of Tennessee. He worked as a civil engineer for McGraw Construction. His survivors include his wife of 57 years, Bonnie S. Spurgeon Pruett; four sons, Ronald Alisa Pruett of Knoxville, Tennessee, Douglas Lori Pruett of Liberty Township, Timothy Anna Pruett of Middletown, Darryl Nicole Pruett of Cincinnati; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, Roy Jo Pruett of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and Gene Jackie Pruett of Franklin. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mary Ellen Gaeke for the excellent care she gave Richard. Memorial services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 8 at the Woodside Cemetery Chapel.
