Robert L Longworth

Robert L. Longworth age 89 of Franklin, Ohio passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026 at Atrium Medical Center, Middletown, Ohio.Born in Whitley County, Kentucky on February 10, 1937, he was one of 12 children to the late Charles Grant & Carrie May (King) Longworth. Robert was employed with General Motors for 47 years, and a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Franklin since 1962. He was a member of "S.A.R." as well as a member of the "Kentucky Colonels". In his free time, he enjoyed traveling, fishing, any and all UK sports and loved to attend the Kentucky Derby. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, and will be terribly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 8 brothers: 3 sisters: grandson Robert Clyde Helsinger.

Survived by his wife of 68 years, Ivaleen (Brummett) Longworth, whom he married on October 18, 1959: children Sheryl & Tom Helsinger; Carl & Tammy Longworth: grandchildren Allison Helsinger & fiance' Brandon Lee; Alex & Samantha Helsinger; Kelsei & Joey Edwards; Kyle & Kate Longworth: great-grandchildren Harper, Hailey, Hayden, Daphne, Amelia, & Margaret: as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at the Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio 45005. Funeral service to follow at 1PM with Rev. David Longworth & Rev. Don McMurray presiding. Burial to follow at Butler County Memorial Park, Trenton, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Life Connections, 2800 Donation Circle
