Robert Lee "Bob" Tharpe, age 71, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Spring Valley, Ohio on January 29, 1947 to the late Robert and Alice (Spencer) Tharpe.
Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years Cheryl Tharpe; daughter, Ruth Ann Tharpe; two sons, Michael Lee Tharpe, Justin Robert Tharpe; five sisters, Della Camp, Alphia McClendon, Betty Fish, Mabel Sortman, Gloria "Cookie" Sanders; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services are 1:00 pm Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Rev. James Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm also at the funeral home.
