Roberta Louise Cottongim

She left this world on March 4, 2025 at the age of 96 yrs old.

Roberta was raised in Dayton, Ohio and was one of 4 children. After graduating from Julienne high school 1946. Roberta worked as a candy dipper for a local chocolate maker and a switchboard operator at Ohio Bell. Roberta met her husband, Ernest Cottongim in 1945 through Ernie's brother Lenard. They married in 1952 and had 2 boys.

Roberta was preceded in the death by her loving husband, Ernest of 49 yrs. Roberta is survived by her sons, Richard (Carie) Cottongim, Roger (Debbie) Cottongim, and her 6 grandchildren, (Chad, Bret, Zachary, Megan, Mathew, and Connor) Roberta will best be remembered for her love and devotion to her husband, Ernest and two sons. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother was her greatest joy.

Memorial Donations may be made in Roberta's name to St. Mary's of the Assumption Catholic Church.

A visitation for Roberta will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 9579 Yankee Road, Springboro, OH 45066, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Roberta will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery.
