Rocky A. Day, age 63, of Springboro, Ohio, died Thursday December 28, 2017 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on November 29, 1954 to David and Patsy (Darnell) Day. He was a teacher and coach with Monroe Public Schools for 30 years and retired in 2007. Rocky was a member of Miami Valley Football Coaches Hall of Fame. He was preceded in death by his father, David Day, mother, Patsy Day, and sister, Lynnah Day. Rocky is survived by his two daughters, Paige (Christopher) Tech, Julie (Rodney) Sutton; granddaughter, Olivia Tech; three brothers, Scott Day, Kirk (Beth) Day, and Jay Day. A time of Gathering will be 4-7pm Thursday January 4, 2017 at the Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St Franklin, OH followed by a Celebration of Life services at 7:00 pm with Dan Flory officiating.
