Roger Joseph Ramsey, age 88, formerly of Franklin, OH; died Saturday May 26, 2012 at New Albany Care Center near Columbus, OH. Roger was born in Wellston, OH on June 4, 1923 to Charles E. and Florence (Gooding) Ramsey. He graduated from Wellston High School in 1941, was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Navy, was employed as a State Highway Patrolman and retired from construction in 1982. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Lorena in 2011, a brothers George, Charles and Howard, sisters Jean and Freda. Roger is survived by a sister Florence Gallivan, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 6:00pm Thursday May 31, 2012 at Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston, OH.
