Roma Mary Victoria Cook, 90 of Springboro, passed away peacefully at home August 5, 2026 with her family at her side. Roma was born March 2, 1936 in Sandy Hook, KY to the late David and Opal (Ratliff) Adkins. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Bobby Cook of 62 years in 2018, son Keith Cook, siblings Wanda Oliver, Dr. Brown Adkins, Clarence Adkins and Thelma Adkins.
Roma leaves to cherish her memory her son Bobby (Tammy) Cook, grandchildren Tracy (Nick) Heekin, Brad Cook, Kellen (Jessica) Cook, Bobby Drew (Katherine) Cook, Callie Bargo, Katie (Wayne) Wright, Caleb (Brooke) Cook, Lucas (Jessica) Cook, 16 great-grandchildren, sister Jean Adkins, many nieces and nephews which she loved them all and beloved dog Gypsy.
Roma and Bobby were co-owners with son Keith and his wife of Cookies Market in Carlisle, Ohio for several years. In which Roma worked there for several years. She enjoyed not only the work but community that she was happy to serve. She also enjoyed working in the community and volunteering her time with her husband Bobby at the Vineyard Community Church, but most of all Roma enjoyed filling her time watching her grand and great-grandchildren.
Roma's family will receive friends at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East 2nd Street, Franklin, Wednesday, August 12 starting at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger presiding. Following services, Roma will be laid to rest next to her beloved Bobby in Springboro Cemetery.
