

Roma Mary Victoria Cook, 90 of Springboro, passed away August 5, 2026 at home with her family at her side. Roma was born in Sandy Hook, Kentucky on March 2, 1935 to the late David and Opal (Ratliff) Adkins.
Roma lived a life of elegance, boudless hospitality, and a deep devotion to her family. She dedicated her life to her role as wife, Mom, Mamaw, Ma, as well as sister, aunt and friend. She was co-owner of Cookies Market in Carlisle, Ohio for several years. Roma also enjoyed working in the community and volunteering her time with her husband, Bobby, at the Vineyard Community Church. She created fond memories in her kitchen, enjoyed growing beautiful flowers and loved spoiling her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her kindness, generosity, and gentle nature touched the lives of many.
Roma is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Cook of 62 years in 2018; son, Keith Cook; grandson, Brian Cook; and siblings, Wanda Oliver, Dr. Brown Adkins, Clarence Adkins and Thelma Adkins. She is survived by her son, Bobby Dale (Tammy) Cook; grandchildren, Traci (Nick) Heekin, Brad Cook, Kellen (Jessica) Cook, Bobby Drew (Katherine) Cook, Callie Bargo, Katie (Wayne) Wright, Caleb (Brooke) Cook, Lucas (Jessica) Cook; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Adkins; and beloved dog, Gypsy.
Funeral services are Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at 12:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Roma will be laid to rest next to her beloved Bobby in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
