Rosa M. Jones, age 76, of Middletown, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Liberty Retirement Community. She was born, March 29, 1935 in Celina, Tennessee, the daughter of Herschell Johnson and Laura Burchett Johnson. Rosa was an active member of the Logan Avenue Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, John Dale Valerie Jones of West Columbia, South Carolina; one granddaughter, Brandi Christine Jones; and two sisters, Juanita Jackson and Lucille Cantrell. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Howard A. Jones in 2009; her parents and a brother, Homer Glen Johnson. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Minister David Stidham officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery.
