

Rose Mary Feerer, a beloved mother, grandmother, and community member, passed away at the age of 83 on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties in Ohio. Born on July 1, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Mark Anthony and Helen Louise (Gray) Tracy, Rose’s life was marked by her unwavering commitment to those she held dear.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, William George Longman; her second husband, Ralph Feerer; and her three sisters, Patricia, Margaret, and Rita.
Rose's legacy continues through her three loving children, William Anthony and his wife An Longman, Lori Susan and her husband Bradley Cooper, and Luke Feerer. She was also a cherished grandmother to Meredith, Colton, Samuel, and Hannah, and an adored aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A dedicated member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church throughout her life, Rose was a proud alumna of Franklin High School, graduating with the Class of 1959. Her professional life included success as a top producer at Macy's at the Dayton Mall and as a nurturing paraprofessional at Pennyroyal Elementary School. Yet, it was the roles of wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother that brought her the most profound happiness. Rose will be eternally missed and remembered for the immense love she shared.
A Memorial Mass will be held to celebrate Rose’s life at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 9579 Yankee Road, Springboro, Ohio.
The family will welcome visitors at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. Following the service, interment will take place at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin, Ohio.
