Rose Melita Ross

Rose Ross, age 72, of Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at Soin Medical Center. Rose was born in Charlotte, Michigan on October 14, 1946 to the late Richard and Laura Reefman. She was a member of West Carrollton Nazarene Church, Deardoff Senior Center, and Ding-A-Lings Chorus.

Rose had a her own sewing business out of her home since the early 1980's. She was an active supporter of her children and their school and band activities. She enjoyed performing in the Ding-A-Lings shows every year. She enjoyed weekly family game nights.

Rose is preceded in death by her sister, Joan DoxTader; brother-in-law, David Orem. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dale Ross; two sons, Chester Dale Ross, Richard Scott Ross; daughter, Lita Rose(Robert) Boothby; two sisters, Donna Orem, Dora (Guy) Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Bernard DoxTader; 2 grandcats, a grandbird, and a grand bearded dragon, special friends and other extended family.

Funeral services are Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at 11:00 am at West Carrollton Nazarene Church, 550 South Elm Street West Carrollton, Ohio with Rev. Bryan Heil officiating. Burial in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to West Carrollton Nazarene Church Missionary Society, American Diabetes Association, and Ohio Special Olympics.
