Russell C. Middleton

Russell C. Middleton, age 72, of Middletown, Ohio, died Friday February 17, 2017 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Harlan County, Kentucky on March 26, 1944 to James and Mary Lou (Tussey) Middleton. Russell was a longtime member of the House of Prayer. Family was everything to Russell and he and his wife Carolyn had over 250 foster children. Russell was a man of many trades and retired from BCI. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Middleton; father, James F. Middleton, mother, Mary Lou Middleton, sisters, Shug Abrams and Carolyn Wade; and son, Kenneth Middleton. Russell is survived by his four daughters, Vicky (Paul) Kroger, Heather Collins, Lisa Allen, Brandi Middleton; eight sons, David Rose, Jeff Allen, Jimmy Middleton, B.J. Middleton, Troy Middleton, Sean Middleton, Jesse (Rachel) Middleton, Greg Middleton; 20 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren; two sisters, Diane Downing and Judy Powell. Funeral services are 1:00 pm Tuesday February 21, 2017 at House of Prayer 728 Forest Avenue Franklin, Ohio with Pastor Roger Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
