Ruth was a member of Monroe United Methodist Church, and volunteered at Otterbein Home as a Geronteer for 15 years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ralph Carpenter; brother, Herschel Clark, sister, Alma Fleming and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Monroe United Methodist Church, 206 East Ave. Monroe, OH.
Funeral services are at 1:00 pm also at the church with Rev. Joel Harbarger officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
