Ruth & I go back to about 1954, as we were hired in to Inland GM Plant out on Third Street, Dayton, Ohio. On April 15th my husband Dale Thompson & I was in her and Jim's Wedding. Two months later on June 14th, 1958, Jim & Ruth was in our Wedding at a Lutheran Church, in West Carrollton, Ohio. And from then on to the last time I talked to her on a Wednesday late afternoon September 3rd, 2020, just less that 12/hours before she passed. My kids grew up with her & Jim's boys. Now I have missed her and have talked with Jim a couple of times. Poor guy loved her so much. Just say a prayer for him . Love you Ruth and have missed our afternoon chats.

I first met Jim and Ruth when they moved into Sycamore Glen Retirement Community in Miamisburg, Ohio. Immediately, I thought so highly of Ruth, her kind and caring attitude was always so evident. Instead of being concerned about herself and her health, she was always thinking of Jim and how everything affected his life. Her life was a living testimony and I am looking forward to seeing her again when I enter Heaven's Gates and send my sincere sympathy and blessings to Jim and their family.

Ruth permitted us to stay at her home when we came back to visit. We live in Arizona but our family resides in Ohio. Jim was a very understanding guy and we both talked golf and baseball. We wish him the very best in the future. Ruth was so kind and unde, rstanding in so many ways.

The Shuperts were my next door neighbors in my first few years of life. Ruth and my mother shared a lifetime friendship. My mother passed away five years ago and Ruth was one of the few that really understood what my life had been. She became my friend to share the good and the bad. She was a great talker but also a good listener. I knew she really understand what I had gone through. She cherished telling me about her children and grandchildren. I will miss our long distance telephone calls. Ruth and Jim were a part of my parents lives for over 55 years. May peace be with her and with Jim, the boys and their families.
