

Sam Henry Campbell, age 83, of Middletown, died Saturday, May 11, 2013 at The Inn at Renaissance Village. He was born February 14, 1930 in Breathitt County, Kentucky the son of John Morgan Campbell and Maggie Noble Campbell. Sam was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a parts handler for the Ford Motor Company, Sharonville, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Gwendolyn M. Redding Campbell; four daughters and sons-in-law, Lois Jean Campbell, Terri Gary Lewis, Mary Ann Randy Ballard, Dawna Rick Pierce; nine grandchildren, Brett Karen Ballard, Amber Ballard, Alec Lewis, Danielle Ballard, Calvin Lewis, Luke Ballard, George Henry Schweppe IV, Christopher Pierce, Justin Pierce; brothers and sisters, Willie Jan Campbell, Dorothy Tolson, Nancy TG Robinson, Jr. Joy Campbell, Lora Rufus Napier, Jeanie Steve Owsley, Adam Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Maggie L. Campbell; his parents; two sisters, Ethel Hensley and Mollie Bukovan; and a brother, Bruce Campbell. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday at the Grace Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. Max Fernandez officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM Wednesday until service time at the church.
