Sammy Randall Gross, 71, of Franklin, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born on August 22, 1949 in Dayton, OH, a son to the late Samie and Alice (Deaton) Gross. He loved Franklin Wildcat football and basketball. Sammy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Diane Gross; children, Randy (Cyndi) Gross, Kevin Gross and Barbara (William) Jennings; grandchildren, Braden McClain, Blake McClain, Sydney Jennings, Kelsey Jennings, Jacob Gross and Conner Jennings; great-granddaughter, Haley McClain; siblings, Jeff (Karen) Gross, Whick (Betty) Gross and Reva Pittman; father-in-law, Wilkie Sizemore; Richard Sizemore, special aunt and uncle, David (Irene) Stout; like a “son to him”, Butch Faulkner and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. Celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
