Sarah Elizabeth Noble Hanes, age 97, of Franklin, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Sycamore Glen Health Center. She was born September 14, 1918 in Wolfe County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Ira and Emma Lou (Elam) Noble. Sarah was formerly employed as a cosmetologist and was formerly a member of Church of God in Franklin. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles M. Hanes; son Larry Steven Hanes; siblings, Anna Lickliter; Harold Noble, Noah Noble, Irven Noble, Henry Noble, Rhoda Hitte, Mabel Lawson, Betty Noble, Katy Twigg. Sarah is survived by son, Charles Dean (Chow) Hanes; daughter, Mary Lynn (James) Buchanan; brothers, Ray Noble and Jerry Noble; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 East Second Street, Franklin, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service.
