Sherry Gibson

Sherry L. Gibson, age 65, of Middletown, died Sunday, January 19, 2014, at the Atrium Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of Ruth Marie Blazer Hackney and Boyd Hackney. Sherry was a prominent local business owner of an office furniture store. She is survived by her beloved friend, Bill Williams; her children, Diana Todd Campbell, Rebecca Ralph Cecil, Larry Gibson, Stephen Barbara Hargraves, Julie Stan Idzi; 10 grandchildren, Sara, Jessica, Jordan, Taylor, Kacey, Miranda, Victoria, Grace, Mallory and Evan; 3 great grandchildren, Brianna, Emma, and Savannah; and one brother, Charles B. Hackney. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Sandy Albertson; three brothers, Eugene, Jerry, Royce Collins, and her beloved cat, Sammy. Memorial services will be 3:00 PM Monday, January 27 at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
