Shirley Parker

Shirley Josephine Parker, age 84, of Trenton, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at the Atrium Medical Center. She was born September 27, 1928 in Middletown, the daughter of Mason Wells and Gladys Gribble Wells. Shirley worked as a nurse's aide at several nursing homes. She was a former softball coach. She is survived by six daughters, Regina David Morgan of Hamilton, Sandra Santiago Taylor of Miamisburg, Brenda Lane of Middletown, Ruthie Tom Lane of Middletown, Pauline Richard Hinkle of Trenton, Melissa Doug Hensley of Trenton; two sons, Paul Manning of Dayton, Steve Jennifer White of Okeana, Ohio; two step daughters, Teresa McCullough of Ottawa, Illinois, Missy Day of Lexington, Kentucky; one step son, Robert White of Ottawa, Illinois; 26 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; and one sister, Kathleen Don Woodward of Camden. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Parker; one daughter, Connie Wright; one son, Kenny Manning; and numerous brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be 12:00 noon Monday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home.
