Shirley Spencer, age 80 of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Parkside Nursing Home and Rehab. Shirley was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on January 12, 1938 to the late Ruffie and Allie VanWinkle.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Spencer; four brothers, Gordon VanWinkle, Roland VanWinkle, Donald VanWinkle and Gary VanWinkle.
She is survived by her son, John (Benita) Spencer; granddaughter, Allie Spencer; two great granddaughters, Maggie Corley, Lillian Corley; brother, Robert D. VanWinkle and sister, Margaret Ramp.
Funeral services are Monday, February 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Elizabethtown First Church, 8900 Chamberlain Rd, Germantown, OH with Pastor Charles Rice officiating. Burial in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to service from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the church.
