

Sydney Claire Breyer, age 18, of Springboro, OH passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015. She was born May 4, 1997 in Kettering, OH, the daughter of Paul and Tambra Breyer. Along with her parents, she is survived by her brother, Lane Breyer; maternal grandmother, Sandra (Jim) Mitchell; paternal grandparents, David and Clara Breyer; three uncles, David Woodland, Peter (Sue) Breyer, Mark (Molly) Breyer; aunt, Carol Breyer; aunt, Peggy (Al) Whitten; a large, loving extended family; and hundreds of loving friends. Sydney grew up in Springboro and attended Springboro schools through 8th grade. She then graduated from Archbishop Alter High School in May 2015 and furthered her education at the University of Mount Union. Sydney enjoyed all things music and loved performing. She performed in countless musicals, concerts, dance recitals and color guard performances. She enjoyed writing poetry, listening to music and singing at the campus coffee house. Sydney was always such a strong, determined young woman. She had the biggest heart and always tried to look at things optimistically. She was loved by family and friends and in her own words "wanted to be remembered as someone who tried to make a difference in the world, one person at a time." Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Anderson Funeral Home in Springboro. Funeral service will be Friday, October 16, 2015 at 5:30 pm at Southwest Church in Springboro, with Pastor Roger Hendricks officiating.
