Sylvia Ann Sherman, age 72 of, Franklin, Ohio, formerly of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Sylvia was born in Cornettsville, Kentucky on February 26, 1944 to the late Arthur and Ida Cornett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer "Grey" Sherman and step-son, Dalford (Carolyn-living) Sherman. Sylvia will be missed by one very special friend, Wayne Frank Kelley; step-children, David (Mary) Myers, Patti (Bill) Campbell and Wendall (Sherry) Sherman; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Gloria (Robert-deceased) Hatton and Glena (Harry) Slemp and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Friday, August 19, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Anderson Funeral Homes, 1357 East Second Street Franklin, Ohio with Pastors Doug Martin and Heath Sherman, officiating. Burial will be held Saturday at Laurel River Cemetery, KY. Visitation will be held on Friday from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
