Terry was a great friend and had a great sense of humor. I just can't believe he's gone but will be sadly missed by a lot us who grew to know and appreciate the kind man he was. He was a good listener  and shared his wit and wisdom to his friends and workmates. I'm sending this out a little late but to Tim and the rest of the family I'm so sorry for your loss. I virtually met Terry - Who-Day on Pinside - as a newcomer he was very welcoming and would often share things that helped me with pinball. He is hugely loved in the pinball community and will be missed - I wish his family my sincerest sympathy and best wishes.

Hello all. 

My name is Wes, and I happened to stumble into this ornery guy named Who-Dey on a pinball forum two years back.  

When I first read his posts, and took in who he was, I had no clue that two years later I'd have nearly daily contact with him via text, and grow to see him as the kind, honest, giving and genuine man you knew him as for the prior 53 years of his life as Terry. 

I hadn't heard from him in a few days, had been off the site, then went on last night to specifically look for him.  My jaw dropped, and my heart sank, as I saw the news.  A day later, I am still beside myself, wishing to text him, share goofy stories of the day, excitement for his upcoming PS5, and just in general enjoy the world a bit more than I do daily, just because he was in it, and chose to share his part of the world with me. 

I am so sorry for his family's loss, his loving critters being more lonely than they deserve to be, his loving gal Debbie missing him on a daily basis, and most of all for him not being able to finally, fully, enjoy what he worked a lifetime to acquire, peace. 

Well buddy, it may not be the kind of peace and calm you hoped for and so dearly deserved, but it's still peace and calm in the ultimate sense.  We all will forever miss you, but I am so, so glad I had a couple of years to spend time with you via friendship, and ultimately learn that I would miss your kindness so much.  For that, I am grateful. 

Thank you to all he knew, loved, grew up with, and grew old with.  I am certain you are all a reflection of who he was, and for that I am glad there are people like yourselves in this world.

Terry was the funniest, most generous soul I've ever known. We met through such a random way but doing something we both loved, playing video games. T, you will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to Debbie, his brother, Tim, and the rest of his friends and family.

Terry was a nice guy. I remember him from the Whistle Stop. I used to get his mom and dad coffee. Sweetest people.

So sad!  I went to school with Terry and he was such a quiet and gentle soul!  RIP Terry and prayers of comfort for your family.

Who-Dey!

I never knew Terry personally but I know that him and my brother Shaun would spend countless hours on the phone and playing Playstation.  I would ask my brother how he could spend that much time talking to someone but he would tell me about Terry and how great of a guy he was! I know that my brother is very upset about it and I am hurt myself because I will not be hearing them talking back and forth for hours about everything that has to do with life! I know that Terry was a very great person because I look at my brother as a awesome person and I know for Terry to spend that much time talking with Shaun that he was a amazing guy!

 I  met Terry on Playstation and played a lot of video games together he was   always  talking about his love for  his Pinball  machines and got me back into playing Pinball. Terry  and I   also done a lot of texting and phone calls every day.  I am going to miss you my friend you were just like a dad to me and have been through so many difficult times in my life and have done so much for me  I'll never ever forget you ever my friend love ya.

Through pinball we met, worlds apart. I am in Western Australia, Perth and we messaged each other now and then with the same common interest of pinball, dogs and political views. 
Truly honoured to have had contact with a beautiful human being.

Terry has been a close friend for many years.  We shared many good times and laughter when we got together.  I will never forget the kindness and friendship he always extended every time I came to visit him and Debbie.  Terry will always be one of my very best friends and I will always be thankful for the time we had together and the motorcycle rides we when on.
