Theresa "Petie" Ann Mehl

Theresa "Petie" Ann Mehl, age 66, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was born in Franklin, Ohio on February 5, 1958 to the late Calvin Coolidge and Betty Louise Howard (Smith).

Petie worked at Jerry's Restaurant, as well as managed different Speedways, and finished her career working at LCNB. In her spare time she loved checking in with her family by calling them on the phone, doing word search puzzle books, watching Hallmark movies, and going to Lake Cumberland, KY. Petie loved God and was a devoted member of the Victory Tabernacle Church. She loved to give of herself and was able to do so one final time as she donated her corneas as one last charitable gift.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tim in 2010; sisters, Loretta Faye Kirby, and Brenda Howard; and brother, Charles Howard.

Petie is survived by her daughter, Sandy (Carly) Mehl; son, Jason Mehl; grandchildren, Brooklyn (Nick) Williams, Mason, and Gabby Dennis, Aubree Mehl, and Bentley Swain; great grandchildren, Tobias, and Asta WIlliams; sisters, Kathy Smith, Patty (Bob) Quigley, Debbie Bryant, Sharon (Arlen) Campbell, Maxie Back, and Barb Hallmark; brothers, Richard Cunningham Jr., and Larry (Shawn) Cunningham; many nieces, and nephews; as well as her beloved rescue cat Scarlet.

A visitation for Petie will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St., Franklin, Ohio 45005. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
