

Timothy W. Roberts 51 of Franklin died Monday June 13, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born in Middletown the son of Ivor and Faye (Abner) Roberts. Tim worked for 31 years at AK Steel as an electrician. He also worked as a chef at the Manchester Inn and as a bartender and was proprietor of the Brass Rail in Middletown. Tim had many hobbies, including restoring cars and his prized 1976 GMC motor home. He enjoyed camping in Florida and the Smoky Mountains, snorkeling and watching his children's activities and the Bengals.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 30 years Karen S. (Alexander) Roberts; children Amanda N. Roberts, Curtis A. Roberts and Derek T. Roberts; siblings Beverly (David) Patrick, Larry Roberts, Ivor (Nam) R. Roberts Jr., Debbie Roberts and John (Carol) Roberts; several nieces, nephews and extended family and close friends.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 20, 2011 10:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Franklin with the Rev. Ronald Mueller officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 1:00-5:00pm at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E. 2nd St, Franklin. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
