Tina Jo Black

Tina was the true heart of her family. She lived her life as a devoted mother and nana. These 2 titles meant everything to her. Tina’s children and grandchildren were her entire world, and she poured every bit of love she had into them. She was selfless, always putting others before herself, and made everyone around her feel loved, safe, and cared for.

After her family- there was nothing she enjoyed more than having her toes in the sand and the warm sun on her face. Tina had a passion for muscle cars, especially Camaros. They always brought a smile to her face, Whether it was talking about them, riding in them, or simply admiring them, Camaro’s were sure to give her such joy!

Tina loved good food and the simple moments that came with it. Every time we sit down for prime rib or a good burger, she will be thought of and missed. These little memories will always remind us of the time we were lucky enough to share with her.

Tina’s love for her family will never fade. The memories she created, the love she gave, and the impact she made on those around her will be carried on forever through her children and grandchildren. Tina, Mom, Nana you will be deeply missed beyond words, but remembered every single day.

In honoring her wishes, Tina chose to be cremated so she could be reunited with her mother and her beloved dogs.

Tina is survived by her life partner, Glennis Black; her children, Stephanie Marie; Codi and Dalena Black; Clayton Black; and Colton and Jenna Black; and her beloved grandchildren, Addison Defrates; Silas Isom; Grayson Black; Oakley Black; Tatum Black; and Slater Jo Black. She is also survived by one brother, four sisters, and a host of extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Friends may call on the family on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12:00–2:00 PM at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E 2nd St, Franklin, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM.
