Troy Hampton

Troy Hampton, age 90, of Franklin, OH, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Hospice of Butler-Warren Counties. He was born in Jeremiah, Kentucky on May 21, 1928 to the late John and Frances (Adams) Hampton.

Troy was employed with General Motors from which he retired after 45 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Iona Hampton; son, Thurmon Dexter Hampton, daughter, Deborah Michelle Shockley, four sisters, Artie Davis, Flarie Caudill, Alta Combs, Allie Aldridge; three brothers, Hendricks Hampton, Earl Hampton and Arnold Hampton.

Troy is survived by his three sons, Larry (Pam) Hampton, Kirk Hampton, Kevin (Wendy) Hampton; six grandchildren, Stacey, Jessica, Megan, Natalie, Braden, Ben; two great grandchildren, Johanna, Keegan; two sisters, IIa Mae Cloud and Ruth Smith.

Funeral services are 12:00 pm Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home 517 South Sutphin Street Middletown, OH with Pastors Gary Ashley and Kevin Hampton officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to service from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm also at the funeral home.
