Vera Carpenter

Vera Ann Carpenter, age 78 of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. She was born August 26, 1934 in West Liberty, Kentucky, the daughter of Wiley Carpenter and Martha Wadkins Carpenter. She was a loving mother to Joyce husband, Gary Brewer of South Daytona, Florida, James wife, Jane Carpenter of Scottsdale, Arizona, Rick wife, Linda Carpenter of Trenton, Ohio, and Donna husband, John Rhodus of Phoenix, Arizona; and a loving grandmother to eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Larry Carpenter.

The family expresses sincere thanks to the staff of Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties for their care and concern.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will be at the Woodside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.
