Veralyn Turner

She was preceded in death by her parents Dolores and Victor Zilinkas; sisters Pat and Vicki Jo; brother Jack and son-in-laws Robert Pitts and Frank Humphrey.

She is survived by her husband, Leon Turner; five daughters Elizabeth Pitts, Barbara Humphrey, Dee Palacious (Dwight), Susie Snyder (Bob), and Valerie Davis (Roger); thirteen grandchildren, Chris, Danny, Curtis, Sammy, Deion, Davy, Drew, Wells, Monty, Nicholas, Mia, Peyton and Zoey.

Veralyn was born in Dayton Ohio where she met her husband. They built their home in Franklin where they would raise their five children. She always had her door open to all her children’s friends who called her Mrs. T. She is remembered for her kind and generous soul. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to lunch every week with her best friends Donna, Joan, Sharon and Jacquie.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Anderson Life Celebration Center, 360 Commerce Drive, Franklin, OH 45005. Donations may be sent to St. Jude’s Hospital.
