Viola Janie Lyall

Viola "Janie" Lyall, age 76, of Franklin, Ohio passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 6:55 PM at her home. Born in Franklin, Ohio on October 9, 1948 she was one of 13 children to the late William P. & Eva (Moodishpaugh) Cope. Janie was a graduate of the Franklin High School, class of 1968, and still enjoyed meeting up with the girls from class once a month, having lunch, catching up and spending time together. She married the love of her life, Gary Lyall on February 27, 1971 and they had two sons. She loved taking care of her home, landscaping, going on vacations and to the races with her family. Her biggest passion was her family, and she will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Phillip, Randy and Alan Cope: sister Gayle Moore.

Survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Lyall: sons Gary Keith & Kari Lyall; Jeffrey Alan Lyall: grandchildren Kody Lyall; Morgan & Jeremy Addis; Cameron Lyall: great-grandchildren Dakota; Montana; Corbin; Waylon; McKinley: siblings Lloyd Cope; William Cope; Gloria Combs; Marilyn Michaels; Robert Cope; Charles Cope; Kim Land; Tammy Mann: as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Friends and family are invited to a Celebration gathering in Janie's Honor on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 3PM. The gathering will take place at "The Farm" - 1949 West Boys Club Rd, Connersville, IN 47331- per the family, please "come as you are" and dress casual.
