Virginia M. Daws

Virginia M. Daws age 84 of Springboro OH went to be with the Lord on Monday January 6, 2025 at her residence. Virginia was born in Somerset KY on October 2nd 1940 to the late James and Mary (Ping) Lowery.

Virginia was employed by the Warren County Correctional Institution for 25 years before retiring. She also served as Clerk/Treasurer for the Church of God of Prophecy in Middletown Ohio for over 40 years and also as a Sunday School Teacher. She continued to be an adviser to the new Clerk/Treasurer after her retirement in 2024. Virginia was an active member of her church and a huge Cincinnati Reds and Joey Votto fan.

She was preceded in death by her two sons Dwayne and Darrell Daws, her three sisters, Elva Burton, Eva Calhoun and Edna Baker. Virginia is survived by her husband of 67 years Edsel Daws, one daughter Deborah Daws, Granddaughter Kendra and Husband Robert Hoke, two grandsons David and Daniel Daws, three great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.

Funeral Services are 4pm Monday January 13, 2025 at Anderson Funeral Home 1357 E 2nd St Franklin, OH with Pastor Gary Justice and Tom Allen officiting. Visitation will be Monday from 2pm to 4pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Miami Valley Memory Gardens at 11am on Tuesday January 14, 2025. The funeral procession will leave Anderson Funeral Home at 10:30 am on Tuesday.
